Why can't I login to Perceptive Content/ImageNow?
Submit a ticket when:
- None of the KB's provide a solution
- You are a new employee (ImageNow accounts require IT setup)
General steps & pitfalls for logging in to the desktop client (Perceptive Content)
- Username must be a full UW-Stout Email
- Must "approve" 2-Factor Authentication push notification
- VPN must be ON if off-campus

My ImageNow Printer is not working, how can I fix it?
Submit a ticket when:
- None of the KB's provide a solution
- The printer is a "Mail Merge" printer
- A repair/reinstall does not correct the problem
- You do not have the correct settings/permissions for updating your capture profiles
When you can't print a document into the server:
- Either the "ImageNow Printer" is missing from your options, a file upload dialogue box appears when printing, etc
- Most of the time, this can be fixed by "repairing" Perceptive Content program
- Repairing Applications (Windows 10)
- If a repair doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the program.
- Other printing issues can be solved by deleting the ImageNow Printer & repairing:
When you do not have the right print settings (drawer, doctype, etc):
- You will need to update your capture profile(s), depending on what you need:

- If you do not have the right options for updating your capture profiles (e.g. missing the right Application Plan option), submit a ticket.

How can I find X document?
Submit a ticket when:
- None of the KB's provide a solution
- A misrouted document cannot be found
How to search for a document:
Perceptive Content: Viewing and Searching for Documents (uwstout.edu)

How to retrieve a misrouted document:
- The only reliable way to retrieve a document that was misrouted is to contact the person or department that it was accidentally routed to and ask them to "route up" the document back to you.
- If this is not feasible, please submit a ticket and provide as much information about the document as you can (the doc type, where it was misrouted, the document ID, etc).
